i tried nearly the same setup on my attak except with 10" std carbides and it had major inside ski lift, it darted a bit on hardpack and steering effort was tiring after a while. didnt yours have any of these problems? i agree they were great in the powder and i love them on my 136" viper, but i just cant get enough ski pressure off of them to get them to work decent on the attak. btw my limiters are in the stock position, the transfer is set 1/4-1/3rd from min and the skis are shimmed.
Early in the year I had 9" shaperbars and steering effort was very hard. I think its the bergstrom ski savers (and less carbide) that has lightened my steering effort and reduced darting. Call scott bergstrom and get a pair of ski savers. I was skeptical during installation but they work. They are 10 bucks for the pair. worth a try I think. I will try to take a picture of the bottom of my skis with my set up. My limiters are in the stock position also but my weight transfer rod is set for maximum weight transfer.
