No - but I dont push it down all the way anymore - mine is molded perfect - no defects at all. Does anyone have a defective one (pic) I find this claim hard to believe.

I will be comparing the one from my old RX1 with the Apex one. Both are at my dealer. My APEX is waiting on the new gears and chain. Both back ordered! It will be a good comparison since all my oil was gone and it was completely dry inside.
