me and my buddy were coming back to gaylord from traverse city and we were ditch banging half way there i hit a rock that must have been just covered by plow truck in one of those ditches i didn't notice until yesterday that the bottom right a-arm and sway bar link were bent. curently i haven't noticed any difference in handling on the seld, now the hard place is i have been off work since dec. 21 due to holidays and lack of work i do go back as of jan. 14 but i need to know if you guys think this could hurt the seld if i go on a previously scheduled ride with some buddies from out of town only a weekend and if you could point me in the right direction for some used but good parts at a good price dealer wants 200 dollars + for replacement parts i cant afford right now some help if you could. thanks
p.s i own a 2006 blue apex er if it helps.

alot of times you can find the parts for a fraction of the cost on ebay..

If it were me i would just ride it as long as there is no damage to the bulkhead ..

my buddy rode his F7 all last year with a bent lower control arm.. then he fixed it this summer.. no problems there..

Check ski alignment .If your running in powder the bent parts might not matter, but when you get to hard pack your all over the trail!!! It might ruin your trip. ;)!

matt....I've bent parts before....and put the sled on its side and taken a long braker bar and some blocks of wood and a tweak here and there twisted back in place....let me know if you need a hand

My buddy rode his sled all last year with bent a arms and he isn't easy on his equipment. He semi straightened it once by tieing the backend to his truck and pulled the a-arm with a come along. It came out pretty good, Then he tweeked it again on a rock and left it until this year and put on new parts on warranty.

LOL

TBay Sledhead, any snow in thunder bay, i heard it all melted? You should come riding to Atikokan, lots here, trails are nice!

Yeah a lot of it is melted. Every thing was like a rock with no lube or cooling. Got 5 or six cm of snow in the last couple of days so there is some lube and cooling. Right now my sled is a parts kit in the garage. Doing some mods and a late servicing. Guess I better get my a** in gear. Or I can ride my SXR.

Well just so you know Tbay sledhead, the snowarama ride is on the 26th this year to white otter castle. There is usually 90-100 sledders and is a great ride with a dinner afterwards, lots of people from thunder bay usually come.
