We are removing studs from my son 2009 Nytro XTX . Lot of them bent and broke. If we remove all studs and do not replace with new ones will we have a problem the track ?

No more than if you replace them, unless you happen to have a fluke event and get a long thin strong object stuck in a hole and that object hits something or tears the track.

Ok thanks
I had another sledder told me the track would tear easier with all the holes from the studs.

just out of curiousity why are they bent and broken? what size and make were the studs? were they too long for the track or was it just wear and tear?

When we bought sled some where that way. I think first owner was alittle rough on where he gave it a bite.

people port tracks on mountain sleds all the time. Pretty much drilling big 2 inch or inch holes in track to reduce weight and get better slide lube and evacuate snow. I dont think small holes for picks will make a difference. As along as they were drilled properly when they were installed.
