Well I finally got around to studding my 07 Rage GT. I had purchased the following hardware from Rich Motorsports back in March.
Woodys 1.325 SS studs
Woodys tall aluminum nuts
Extreme Max double backers
I put in a total of 108 studs with all double backers. It should be a real durable setup with the longer studs on am 1.25" track. I have always ridden with a studded track. I put on just over 800 miles on the Rage last season without studs. I didnt have to many issues, but did miss studs a few times.
Think snow. G.B.

You want to check the distance from tunnel protectors at rear heat exchanger. We nicked our exchangers last season on our Rages, especially on the softer settings. There should be an update for it. We riveted sections of hyfax to our protectors at exchangers, works so far. The muffler can be close to if track is run loose. plowking

Thanks Plowking, I remember seeing some posts on this. I was thinking of riveting some old hyfax under the rear heat exchanger just to be sure. Now all I need is some snow. Thanks, G.B.
