Re: Studding
Your's is a good example as to why you should start with less and then add more if needed. Try 96, supertrax thinks you'll be very pleased.SERPAGS said:Don't mean to encroach on your tread, just a quick q.
I have been riding a ski-doo mxz with 96 pins and stock runners.
This year (YES I jumped to Yammi) I am getting the Apex ER and I have been suggested to changethe runners to Woddy:s duallies 6"no studding.
Then someone told me I should get the 6" duallie and no studding.
I ride fast and aggresive, always on trails, lots of wooded trails...etc.
I don't want the feeling that I am riding on a train track, but want safety so that I can ride aggresively enough. Any tips would help.

Just my humble $.02
Prolly 144, may do 120 but no less than that for me.
I'm too agressive of a rider to go with less, I'll end up breaking them if I do

Re: Studding
96 down the center is all you will need to ride hard in the trail. If you want to drag, then start adding studs and add to the outside belt for drag racing.

I went to that track due to the hopes of attending some radar runs this winter. I'm running Woody's 1.075 studs which give betwee 1/4" -3/8" of penetration.

Does anyone know if Roetin is back to making studs this year? I know they had some issues last year.
