i put 80 studs in. 2 in every row and then i would leave the 6th row empty. But you will need a tunnel protector for the front heat exchanger. The studs hit just behind the heat exchanger when you hitting crossings in the ditch when the snow is a little harder. I dont have them in because i dont know how to put them in.

I run 96 down the middle and not front protection but I have the protectors run all the way to the front exchangers and have no damage after 1000 miles.

Has anyone tried Gold ice screws? The ones you use in atv and dirt bike tires.
I would think it would work.No more worry about weight, cost, and cooler protection. I may try 3/4 inche long screw. What do you think?
