I think i want to put some studs in my stock track i only want the center of track studed so thats 96 right? would 1.250 be good for the stock track or should i go shorter? the stud's i'm looking at are (red tip power studs) i can get 96 with any color backers and locknuts for $81.00 at my door is this fair?

what i did for a template for mine is i took a piece of cardboard and measured out how far the studs will be placed and just cut a hole in the cardboard. Then held it up to the track and drilled my holes. For a pattern i did 2 near the square holes in the track then 2 closer to the middle then 2 out etc..

I measured up, drilled out and marked up some paint stirring sticks to mark tracks. Cheap, fit in-between the lugs perfect, and, well, cheap.
Don't do the outside bands and you'll be fine. I just used 2 pcs of slides for tunnel protectors.

i just sent back woodys 1.175. they stood .425 over the lug. way to aggressive imo. ordered 1.025 instead. the effective length as stated on the package is BS.
