I just bought a supercharged Phazer which has what looks like an MPI supercharger, and it was ran with only the screen and obviously pulled some ice into the impeller and damaged it. What air cleaner are you guys with this setup running and where can I find the setup? I assume 90 degree turn and running up top with air cleaner?
Next question is what is best solution for nicked up impeller? Send to MPI?

Called MPI, seems you cannot buy the impeller you have to buy complete supercharger......I guess I now know why this sled was cheap.

Keep doing some searching for the Rotrex supercharger. Somebody has to be able to get you parts, or be able to service it. If you can't find anything with various internet searches, pm me, and I'll see what I can do for you. I might have a way to get an impeller, but not sure.

After doing some research it seems the Rotrex c 15-60 is assembled with some planetary gears under pressure and that is the main reason for not replacing the impeller. I think my best resource now is to buy one via ebay.........
I still cannot believe an MPI dealer puts these together with only a screen on the intake...facing the side vent and exposed to snow. The only other MPI s/c Phazer I could locate also had this problem and he fabbed an air cleaner with sock for it.

Seems a s/c rebuild place can rebuild these for $450 bucks. I am going to contact them about just replacing the impeller, results to follow. As MPI is a sponser here I did not name the rebuild place, even though MPI will not rebuild them.
