I must agree with HYFLYR just because TC seem to work better then SC still.
I can't see any application where SC beats TC, other then in theory!
Just IMO!

Turbos seem to make more power (I don't know why) but they make tons of heat, SC not as strong but run lots cooler. Both are about 5 grand and engine work will need to be done. Why are you thinking of turbo/SC for your RX1?

If you are a newbie - you should buy a kit (turbo or SC) where you get the best customer support.

Will do..
I have a big Rx-1 MTN project ahead of me and if you will built an RX-1 TC/SC is a must have, but i'm stuck in the midle of wich to chose.
I want to have around 240-280 HP in the sled. So it stil would be reliable.
And i'm afraid of the Turbo Lag..
Want the power to build up as quickly as possible!
I'm not out for the biggest TC/SC..
Think MTN PERF. sell the Stage 1 SC for 4100$
MCX express Stage 1 TC ~ 35'000SEK ~ 6000$

If you want power to build up as quickly as possible go SC you will not be disappointed. Just be sure to buy a o2gauge because sometimes they can be a little tricky to set up at first.

I would go with MCX - they are in your "back yard". After you have added import tax and shipping costs you want be far off from mcx kit-price. The support from mcx will be worth every penny spent - trust me!

Where do you live?
I was thinking you maybe wanted to test my anti lag MCX turbo .
I hear much about lag, but as Affe at MCX wrote in the snowmobilemag SnowRider "Lag is something i only suffer from when i read about it", or something like that, it can have lost something in my translation!
Most of the "lag" is in the clutching!

Boondockerguy
Newbie
if you go with a boondocker gt25 kit...depending upon elevation you can run a mix of pump gas/race gas and get your 250 hp and not do any engine work...

Vice choise!
Especially if you like to drive, MCX's kit is very well outsorted, install the kit, turn the key and drive, they have problably less glitches with their kit compared with mostly others!
And if you have some questions before and after the purchase, you have near to the helpful and knowledgeble guys at MCXpress!
Happy driving! LOL
