Hey guys,
I have ran 2 stroke sleds with turbos, was kinda dissatisfied with lag. Not so much off the line, could clutch around that. It was more when you let off for a corner then hit it again, count to 1 then go. I am between sleds right now but strongly leaning toward Apex with supercharger. I just want moderate boost and hp gains. Mostly trail riding with occasional drag race.
Just a few questions:

Number one on the list, how has the reliablility been?
What kind of mileage are you seeing trail riding with boost?
What kit is preferred?
I am assuming there is very little or no lag with these kits?
Any other issues?

One other thing, how are the guys liking the monoshock skid?

Thanks in advance for your input.

I have 1000 Boosted Miles
I am seeing 75 miles to a tank right now but that was pig rich I have new settings good for 100 miles to a tank of fuel now.
I like my MPI stand up company lots of help and quality is excellent best aftermarket thing I have ever purchased.
There is absolutely NO lag at all I would wager to say its snappier then it was stock.
No issues to date.

Mono shock skid going from a doo with a sc4 its very choppy and stiff it does take the bumpes yes but shakes your teeth out in the choppy stuff. Enter the apex running the stiff spring. Its very very plush in initial movement and I would say the smoothest sled I have ever ridden but hit something big and it will take it. I think next year there will be alot of complainers when it comes to yamaha's new skid.

I've got about 700 miles on my SC....Works really well on the trail. Excellant throttle response, low heat under the hood. Down side is bad gas mileage, getting about 11 to 12 mpg. Not a problem except I ride with a bunch of Yamahas so I'm always the first looking for fuel :o|

thanks for the info guys, anyone else got any stories, good or bad??

S/C RX-1

500 miles on my S/CRX-1 Mtn I love It!! the only problem I have had is when riding in 3 to 4 feet of powder the S/C oil cooler doesnt get enough air and the oil will get hot but I just stop clean the snow out and good to go MPI kit running 10psi very easy to install. Great kit

300 miles on 05 RX1SC-instant response-backed off from 26-22 (too much
for trail sled)was at 24-24 (about 8psi w/clutch&gear)just switched to 26-24 & changed clutching-will post results-all in all very fast/very responsive/hard on fuel/MPI has been GREAT-just need more snow!!
