I have not used them but have seen them and yes they are more aggressive. I have the standard super tips in my sled and love them, and yes that is what Ulmer uses in his kits(standard)great kit..great guy.

Mainly a more aggresive up-shift like a drag racer would like, they are not to concerned about back-shift.sorenson1610 said:What are the benifits/drawbacks of them?

I have already the std. Supertips since 3 years.
I just want to try something else....a different setup.

If you give Allen a call at Ulmer Racing he can give you info on placing weight and adjusting your standard weights . There are almost infinite combinations with these weights to change the shift charachteristics....The X series are very aggressive for most any trail riding.I will tell ya i was going to try them myself but saw (in another sled just like mine) and I would not likely want them for trail application.FireStone said:I have already the std. The X series are very very aggressive and are very tough to tune on snow due to that. You will either spin and suck the belt into the secondary or if you have excellent traction and hook up the acceleration is very very good, but overall the X series are not a good trail weight.
