Internet and Cable were down until today, power was off and on yesterday. This is from Thompson, Manitoba.

My parents were in town visiting, came up on Friday, it was sunny and like 16 (60-70F). Changed overnight by Sunday we got like 30cm of snow!

How in the world can you post pics like that and not give us some details? Oct. 8th? Here in Southern Illinos, that's as much cumulative snow as we'll see all winter. Must be nice.

Hehe I just had time to post the pics when I was home for lunch.

The ride was excellent, the looks I got were awesome. Gonna have to secure the sled extra tight, everyone loves it.

The engine is more then powerful enough for me, well I didnt get a chance to open it up for a 1/4 mile, the ride around the backwoods in the area was fun. It has more punch then my 05 550F Polaris Supersport. The track will spin on the heavy snow if you gas it, it goes, but it wont throw you back on soft snow. Better to accellerate softly on the stock track.

However, if you hit grass or shallow snow, it will rip it up right away. Pulls awesome, when it gets traction, lots of torque, no problem lifting the ski's off the line, but I dont want to mess up the grass too much :)

The ride and handling were just like a 250F dirtbike, to be honest. Firm suspension, good handling, nice ride. Sound is awesome, and btw.... the starting issue you guys were talking about.... I dont have it. Everyone was saying they are hard starting?? Brand new, I let the fuel pump prime, and it took 3-4 complete cycles to start it. As in about 2-3 secs of cranking.

After 45 minutes of riding, I went in for lunch came back out, started near instantly.

Anxious to get out for another ride soon. Snow is melting right now though... more snow tommorrow though they say.

I'm curious to know how much snow on your sled is due to the hole in the bottom of the tunnel?

Basically what you see in pic 1281 is after a 20 minute ride through the wet sticky stuff.

Not sure what the purpose of the hole is?

RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT! just kidding, break it in well, you are one of the very, very few to get the first ride of the season this early.LIVE IN THE MOMENT. :4STroke:
