suspension help plz!

Alrite my dad just got a left over 09 FX nytro and we have never had yamahas. Could someone please tell me how you adjust the clicker shocks up fron all they do is turn but dont seem to be doing anything. Also how would you guys adjust the susepension for someone who is 5 10" 185lbs and rides semi aggrressive?
