I have a 04 RX1 it's been bullet proof since purchased in 06 wanna up.grade rear skid to one from a 08 Nytro any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated .

You'll need the dimensions of the Nytro suspension mounting bolts. Depending on your size, you'll likely need heavier torsion springs. What model Nytro is the suspension from?

Not sure all I got is a rear skid from a 08 Nytro 40th anniversary edition

Well, regardless, you'll have some trial and error until you find the right combination of spring preload front and rear and limiter length. Should at least have a compression adjustable shock at the rear. If I remember correctly, this skid in 121 has a rear limiter strap. I've swapped slides 5 times and each 1 has had its issues. Get those mounting points laid out, drill em, and throw it in their !
