I hit my buddies sled and now the front suspension needs some major repair. I'm thinking either Port Washington Yamaha or Vetesnik. Has anyone here had any repair experience with either of these Wisconsin dealers? I purchased the sled (2012 Vector LTX) from Vetesnik. My local dealer is Hammertime but I don't care for their operation. Many thanks in advance.

Rocky, I live just north of you by Clinton Wi. I drive within 1.5 mi. Of Hammertime coming from work (Chrysler), and I wouldn't let Hammertime work on my kids tricycle! I'm taking my wife's Venture to Port Yamaha this afternoon for some collision repair. 4 hr. Rd. Trip, but worth it to KNOW the sled is fixed and fixed right! Know nothing about Vetesnik.

I have had excellent service from Johnson Sales outside of Madison. It's been primarily maintenance and parts replacement on my RX-1 but extensive. I trust them so I bought a 2014 Vector from them as well. :sled1:

x2. Port all the way. Friendly, knowledgeable and they stand behind their work. If you don't have a local dealer you want to support I would highly recommend the guys at Port Yamaha.

Many Thanks

Thanks for the replies to my need for sled repair. I just got off the phone with Port Yamaha and I will drop the sled off tomorrow. I expect approx. 3 week turnaround. I'll let this thread know how it turns out. As to the question on how I managed to hit my buddy…. Very cold first few minutes…some swirling snow and the face shield had ice on it. He missed a turn and slammed on brakes. He has picks, I don't. Probably going 10mph when I hit him. Bent some front end parts. That's it. Y'all be careful out there. Thanks again for the Port Yamaha info.
