suspension question stock 153"

500 km on 09 nytro and noticed if there is any pressure at all on the front of my track the limiter straps are loose. I have already tightened them up to the 2 last hole and increased the spring tension to what specs would be classed as the high/hard setting. I've also increased th rear quite a bit to help the front load. I've noticed this from the first couple of km on the machine. It's like the front of the suspension is too far up into the tunnel and the front end is too low to the ground. Is this standard for the nytro suspension or is it possible I just got a faulty shock on a new machine?
 
got a picture? so we can see if it is normal or just getting used to a new machine?

what sled are you coming off of?
 
Here's a couple of pics. Sorry for all the ice and snow. I'm assuming this is just the way this suspension is designed? I threw a couple of pieces of wood under the track to show what is happening. You can see there is no tension on the limiter straps from just the weight of the machine. It seems as though unless I'm parked on perfectly flat surface this happens. I'm coming off my old reliable 485 94 venture 151" and I'm the only one in town with a nytro so I have nothing to compare it against.

yeah your limiter strap is not a good measure of suspension, as the moving sled forward or backward can coup[le or uncouple that suspension...

However, the stock suspension is not the best by any stretch!!!

The better measure of limiter strap adjustment, is ski pressure...generally speaking (for he hills) we try to have no more than 6" of lift when we slam the throttle WOT on hard pack...that is a starting point for adjustment...then you move on to ski pressure etc. is the steering too stiff? if so, let out the limiter strap a little, and increase the shock pressure on the front shock)...if ski pressure is too light, suck up the limiter strap and increase tension on ear shock...

additionally, by putting wood under there, you are magnifying the issue...

if you take a pic of further back, it might help us answer if the suspension is pointed down question you had...

Here is a pic of my sled, but it is apples and bananas as mine is aftermarket suspension, but will give you a feel for the angles at play...if you look close, you can see, that the limiter straps are somewhat loose, and not tight...that has to do with how I stopped...slamming on brakes and skidding :)
