Just wanted to say thanks to all you that gave me advice on how to remove the suspension on my 06 Vector. Came out very smoothly with hardly any effort. Going back in was a little more difficult until I put a block under the middle of the track to allow me to rock the suspension and remembered what someone said to watch out for the rivets and sure enough that was the hardest part to do. If you are not bumping into one then it is another. All in all it was not too bad.
Changed the sliders and fixed all the grease fittings with JB weld (still think Yamaha should have recalled these sleds to fix the fittings as this is a factory or quality issue) Checked all the shafts, bearings, bushings and wheels. Everything else seems OK except for the centre wheel on the back axle which has a small gouge in it. (small round piece of rubber missing) Thought about changing it but when I called the dealer he said all his snowmobile parts were in storage for the summer and it could take hours to locate a wheel. I'll just keep a close eye on it and change it later if I need to. Sliders were 70% worn through in a couple of spots. (Just in front and behind the front idlers. The rest were hardly worn. I think it is due to the studs putting pressure on these spots.
Once again thanks guys for the help. Made the job a lot easier

mono
Your right about the mono suspension coming out smoothly it's one of the easiest suspensions to take out and put in.
