What's everyone doing to their 137s for radar run set ups? Transfer blocks out and limiters pulled up? If so, how many holes from stock? Blocks in? Center shock adjustment? Lowering front end (by loosening front shock springs). I'd still like to get a little transfer for drag racing. BTW...tuned with 21/38 gears and 1.63 triggers.

Wow those gears should bring some good top speeds, how far is this radar run,IMO a true radar run should be at least 1/2 mile of good hard pack,or bare ice. Yes at least soften the rear by releasing the torsions to the least setting, and the rear shocks to min. no need to pull straps much more than 3rd hole, yea you can slacken front springs some or strap them down,i prefer to strap the front end down,so when you are finished, just unstrap it and go,set those shocks soft as well, and let R rip. Make sure to give GPS speeds.

It’s probably going to be 1500-200o feet. More of “back yard” racing. Hard packeted snow on a lake. I’m hoping to be around 130 on the speedometer. Didn’t know if pulling the limiters up would improve approach angle which net more speed.

Yes it will bring a beter approach angle, for top speed 2000 feet is a good length, what tune are you running? To bad its not plowed, much better speeds.

21/38 Is not enough gear for anything over 1320

Why would it not be good, those gears should be capable of running over 130 real sped.

because you should max it out well before 2000 feet.
