I have 2014 standard sr viper, coils overs no floats. I had it driving nice now I studded it, 90 down the center. Now it's pushing corners again and can't keep the inside ski on the ground. Limiter straps are in the middle hole. Have not messed with the shocks. how tight should I go with the straps to make it bite. Recommendations on shock adjustment?

you may need more carbide now that it's studded all other things being equal.

Running 6in now. Next set will be 8s. Not jumping on it yet with a week or so left in the season

That's what I was thinking. Does it pay to take anything off the front skid coil over?

Yes that helps a lot. All the suggestions are good. My front shock only has about 5 threads showing and my limiter strap is pulled down 1 hole.

Are you in the 2nd hole from tightest then?

The more you pull that limiter strap the more of your rear suspension you loose. Try reducing pressure on your front skis.

Wouldn't loosening the front shocks take off ski pressure and cause more push in corner or am I not thinking about this properly?

I'm with you... If I were pushing and getting ski lift in turns I'd be adding ski pressure not removing it...

I have my limit strap in the 3rd hole from the end of the strap ,You have to loosen up the spring on the center shock like others have talked about and taking pre load out of the front springs will make it push worse.Mine has 6" shaper bars and have it turning pretty good ,still a little push in loose snow but very good on hard pack.

I have 2015 rtx le float evol shocks put the limiter strap i put to last hole last night ,was on middle hole, tried in field tuffer to turn at slower speeds less rear suspension travel,i've got 108 studs with tuner ski 6 in and 4 in carbides, going to try on trails today, just trying for the day if the trails are rough might not be good, more ski pressure give more bite but more rigid ,make sure your rebound is set properly after 1300 miles of different set ups probaly will never corner as well as my vector ,rather than just shoulder lean might have to shift rear and hole body over

Hello there sir! Adding more ski pressure to the front will make the front end more aggressive in the corners. Turning the preload collar down on a coil over is the correct way. This will help with body roll, ski lift and give it a more precise steering. Pulling down the limiter straps works also. But if you are riding any rough Trail it will bottom easily.
