Just looking for some advise on suspension set up for the Nytro. I found that riding on the groomed twistys this week the sled had a tendancy to lift the inside ski after putting on the dolly runners. I've never had a sled with compresion/rebound adjustment on it. Will setting either of these higher eliminate the inside ski lift or is the trick in setting the spring coller higher. All setting are still stock right now. Any advice would be a great help.

I had the same problem but am getting it dialed in. To holes tighter on limiter strap. Set the compression on front and rear at 4 turns out and torsion spring on hardest setting. I will be adjusting the preload next now that I have enough snow to test at my house. I think the rebound is to high because the rear had a tendancy to kick up on me. Just start playing all the stock setting are in the manual. I also have 80lbs in the floats maybe a little stiff but it doesnt let that outside ski compress as fast

Is your nytro a standard or RTX? If it is an RTX, start decreasing the amount of pressure in your floats. Also, are you noticing this under heavy throttle? If so, do as most others are doing and tighten your limiter strap by 2 holes.

It is a standard nytro and I am noticing it under heavy throttle as well. But won't tightening up the limiter strap give it a heavier feel in the steering especially with the doolly runners on the skis?

1 take out all the pre load in front springs
2 set clicker to stiffest setting
3 add pilot skis
4 stiffen rear springs rebound clicker 8-10 clicks
5 center spring med stiffness

this was a greet set up for the apex never had ski left handle very well it important to get the front off the sled low this is were all the weight is. the lower the better

Umm....a little overboard don't you think? Shouldn't he start with trying to tune his Nytro (i.e. Not an Apex) to it's max capabilities?

i think he will find that it works very well it still has a lot of front end weight and a narrow ski stance

I agree, do you want to have some comfort or do you prefer the ride of dumptrucks?
