I put 170 miles on Sunday in Michigan and the trails were rough with a lot of woops in the trail. I'm 6'-5" & 290lbs, how would I set my suspension under my rear so I can ride over the woops?
I was on my buddies ski-doo tnt and his suspension seemed to ride over them. Other than that I thought the nytro was far superior.

I have a 40th aniversary fx nytro rtx and the setup would be stock from the dealership. I haven't changed anything under the seat

Thanks for the help

I weigh 240 without gear and my suspension setup is working great! I am only 6 foot even. I am a jumper and have the spring blocks set on high for that, otherwise medium for trail. High would probably work perfect for you.

You will have to click the download of your choice to see the spreadsheet.

Lucky 7, have you used these torsion spacers or know of anyone that has. I read up on them and if I understand their function that might do the trick. And for 30 bucks I can handle that upgrade!

No. I have done a lot of changes this year and I really need to get a baseline before I make any additional changes. You could always call Ross at Hygear, and he would be more than happy to explain to you what you may need.

If you do get them, let us know how they are.

If you are talking about the adjustable rear blocks; ulmer and Hauk both sell them. They are a nice cheap fix. Not going to replace the correct suspension, but for a budget buy, it's a nice adder.

I think he was talking about the torsion spacers that hygear sells.

At 6' 5" and 290 you should just pick up your sled, tuck it under your arm and run with it thru the rough stuff.

I assume you found the suspension too soft in the whoops. The torsion spring is there to mostly to compensate for the load on the sled. Make sure they are jacked up to HIGH. and maybe put a little preload into the center spring. Then add a 2-3 clicks of compression on the skid shocks.

Does Yamaha make heavier torsion springs for the Nytro? You might look into that as an option too.

I installed the X-Click 4 position aluminum blocks, running them on the 3rd hardest setting, (4th setting is the OVERLOAD position) and these provide a LOT more bottoming resistance than Hard on the stock plastic blocks. Well worth the $$$ ;)!

That is exactly what I was talking about. This sleds runs awesome under all conditions except for the bumps which isn't bad but I would like to stay more on top of the woops like my buddies skidoo tnt

Can you guide me how to install this x-click?
