Hello,

I have a 2007 base model Phazer. In retrospect, kinda wishing I had gotten the FX or GTX. Anyhow, are there any suspension upgrades that won't break the bank? I've read about some people installing the GYTR clicker shocks and I was wondering where people are getting them? Ebay? I'm sure they are super expensive from Yamaha. If anyone knows of anyone that has a set for sale I would be interested. I'm primarily interested in upgrading the rear suspension to eliminate bottoming.

Thanks,
Tom

Yamaha has an "anti-bottoming" kit. Worth every penny. Less than $100.....

My understanding is that the Yamaha anti-bottoming kit is only available from Yamaha Canada and not available to dealers in the states. Any info on how I can obtain this kit?

That's correct that they are only available to the Canadian dealers. I tired to get some through a couple dealers here in my state, but couldn't. I ended up getting mine from Hygear suspension, along with the torsion spring spacers. They must have bought a bunch from a dealer or distributor in Canada.

Work on your dealer for GYTR's.There is alot of wiggle room price wise.I bought Custom Axis rear skid shock.Best upgrade to suspension I did.
