as I am sick and tired of hearing about broken links, suspention bolts breaking, etc. most of all i'm sick of how unstable the whole set up can be at times. everything will be swapped or re-worked from a frames to skid to axels to track to ski's right down down to all the steering linkages...what i need is a kick in the right direction. any links to aftermarket manufacurers for suspention components that would fit please let me know...any knowlege of other manufaturers OEM suspention components fitting up under the phazer (IE skids, a-arms, etc.) please do share.

HyGear makes the only alternative setup when working with stock suspension.Width between rails is same as any 15in track so with minimum mods any suspension could be installed.Trick would be the rear mount which uses pivots like Polaris and AC but not much leeway on a phazer since piece it mounts to is only about 3in. wide. Not to discourage you but high C.G. is the one thing that is going to be tough to overcome no matter what suspension you add.Mine is fully updated and reinforced and so far this year no issues.Never made a weekend without breaking something last year.So I think my improvements and Yamahas are working.

my overall goal is to improve way beynd stock. so using stock parts in alot of cases wont be an option. Moddifying stock mounts and stock tunnel to make all this aftermarket stuff work isn't an issue. I can do any custom fab work that needs to be done right in my garage, i have the tools and the means to carry out any plans i set forward from today till the end of the year.

i had an upgrade from the 08 phazers done to my 07 that corrected the week links in the chassis - i believe it was wheels, front arm and shock links. check with a dealer - i didnt pay for mine.

UPDATES
The dealers have nothing in there computers for the suspension update , so I would like to know how the dealers are replacing them for free .

It's not an "update/recall". It's a replacement set of parts to repair problems of the suspension linkage breaking. They generally will only replace these parts if you break the old ones. It's not something most dealers will just replace because you want them too, or because you've "heard of this issue". I'm sure under orders from Yamaha to try and keep costs down.
