If a guy wanted to use RTX style bar/riser setup on a standard nytro is it a straight forward swap to swap a RTX steering post? This will give you the pivot style steering post base?
I guess a pivot adapter will do too?
I am going to do the relocate and want to end up with a bar height at or maybe 1in taller than the standard oem bars would be with the relocate done.
I don't like the look or bend of the oem bars and they flex a lot too so want to end up with aftermarket bars that are stronger, look better and are hooked......
what are some choices or approaches here??
I have searched and seen some but looking for any other ideas or setups??
I like the idea of using ProTapers from a Polaris but will this end up too tall after the relocate mod?
Like I said I want to end up at or maybe slightly taller than the relocate mod using oem standard bars.

On my 08 rtx I ditched the stockers for Fly bars, and 4" inch Fly riser and pad. I also run the oft relocater. I think it's a great setup for aggressive trail riding!

I'm running an RTX steering post and riser on my sled with the relocator and XTX bars. The post was a direct swap for the stocker.

I put doo XRS flat bars on that are hooked on he end. They are great and with the relocat and a 5in riser I got just the height I was looking for. Only thing is they are aluminum. I didn't think about that with the heaters. They kinda suck up the heat a bit.

yes....... its a direct swap steering post wise, and it allows you to run pivot riser

Check out that thread and you can see my setup with the pro tapers. just measure your bars and look at pro tapers website and find the height that matches what you need. really easy swap to do and they are wider and have a much better feel. the polaris hooks can be ordered through the polaris dealerships and are fantastic.
