So I am coming from Arctic Cat and I had 440's, so it was mainly a firecat that was rider forward and a decently tall seat. Now those where tippy sleds. I am thinking about removing the sway bar so I can side hill and put it on its side a little better, but I still ride trails alot. How tippy is it with out the sway bar? Just worried with it being a 4 stroke and all the weight and the issues with steering on the nytro. I have a 2011 XTX.

While I do not ride a lot of trails, I pulled mine out and do not miss it at all!
It's way easier to side hill and it doesn't throw you around as much, when you have to cross someone else's old tracks.
A good way to try it, is to remove one of the sway bar links and take it for a spin. If it's to tippy on the trail, it's easy enough to put the link back in.
Nice thing about the XTX is you can also adjust the front clicker shocks to compensate for the removed sway bar.

if you have the weight or the muscle to throw the sled around you can supprise some 2 stroke riders with what a "heavy" sled can do. i dissconected one side for a trip and turned the clickers to soft and ended up loving it. the next trip when it was stricktly trail riding i just turn the clickers to hard and didnt notice any exsesive body roll on the trails

I cut it off.
Rrode some back country today. Sled felt a lot lighter on the trails and way more like my cat.
Still have to try the hard trail
