Swaybar diameter: 12mm or 13mm???

13mm

If you plan on being even the least bit agressive, this is what you need.

Whynot go for the most when you can. When you ride aggresive youll be glad its there.

this is my biggest complaint about my sled so far as it pulls skis bad in corners and it seems way to simple and easy for just a sway bar change to fix it but would be real nice if thats all thats needed.

I seem to have either gotten the setup right or learned to control the inside lift on my sled. Where I'm still getting freaked on occasion is on off camber corners, or where the line I've chosen on top of the loose stuff might go a little wide, leaving me off camber. Seems like the sled leans WAY over (to the outside) on those occasions, even while hanging off the side? Are you guys experiencing the same prior to installing the thicker bars?
Thanks, -Al

Iput the 13mm bar in and it was a toatally new sled, much flatter on corners the ski can still come up but you really have to be on to it.
dual runners lowering the front shock about 6 turns so the a-arms are close to level pulling the limiter 1 hole tighter is my basic set up in the front, adjusted the rear to the 3 rd clip and 5 th cam position.
Next i will try shimming the skis a bit trying to get a little more bite in the corners, and reduce the hunting of the ski and the slight pushing i get in less then ideal trail conditions

I have never noticed any real extra harshness on the lake, and I regularly run from my house up to bobcaygeon with it pretty much to the bar, you will only notice it when you get into some real uneven trails then the feedback is a little more than stock but overall i would say use it if you don't like the 13mm bar i am sure that someone here would happily buy it.
My normal day loop on the weekend is around 200-250 km and i am not any more tired riding with the stiffer bar just takes longer to wioe the grin off my face.

i have 06 apex, bro put 13mm in his 06 attak, world of difference between our sleds, his handled so much better in the turns,i will be installing 13mm on the apex soon..

Has anyone done the 12mm?

I did the 13mm on my 04 Warrior and it made a huge difference in cornering, but made the front susp harsh in uneven trails, which became tiring in 300 mile days.

I have yet to lower the front spring preloads & I am tired of my Attak leaning & lifting the inside ski.

does the 13mm sway bar have any effect on how the Attak handles in the deep snow/powder??

With a 13mm forget about BOONDOCKING unless you disconect the 1 side of the sway bar...

The weight transfer is much greater side to side/left to right with a 13mm so making it a lot harder to carve in deep powder, its doesn't handle the stuff at ALL!

the larger the bar the less the body roll and ski lift....which is what you want to boondock...but the 13 with simmons skis is an awesome thing...what a difference when it gets twisty!

I run the 12mm with C&A Razor skis and find this setup to work very well. I do some aggresive trail riding, but no racing. Still get inside ski lift, but the tippyness is gone and the front still follows the rough stuff well. Note this is on an Apex, not Attak

I still get the inside life now that I put the 13mm bar on, but its m uch more controllable. Almost predictable. It comes up just a tad and Im through the area with no issues. With the other one it would come up and seem to throw it all outta whack.

Im still messing with mine though..... new skis may be next to order while Im on vacation.
