Switching to 4 stroke ... which one to buy???

The mono is a comfort, cruiser type rear skid. If you try to use it for running bumps at high speeds than it is not going to hold up. Their are better 136" skids out there and they are not made by Yamaha.

Apex ltx or attak. My brothers 07 attak is an amazing trail sled

Speaking of which, when did yamaha go from the mono to the mono II?

Love my 08 Apex ltx gt 40th
I ride mostly trails and it's perfect. All in Quebec.

Next year apex xtx 144 gonna miss the ohlins but gonna keep the 08 too.
Spare bullet.

you would love a Apex LTX GT

ABSOLUTELY X 2

X3, I came from an AC Thundercat 900 tripple and I couldnt be happier with my Apex Ltx GT. Best sled I have ever riden. the second best that I liked was a Doo MXZ renegade with the 600ho, but I felt it was meant for a more aggressive rider than I am. I love my comfy Apex and the smoothness and reliability.

New member on the site. I have an 01 SXR 600. was my first sled. Would like to stick with yamaha and upgrade to a four stroke, im not knowledgeable of Yamaha models. Im researching but thought id ask to get some opinions.

The SXR is to small for me. Im big 6'4" 250lbs, long legs. I need a sled that fits my size. Id like to stand once in a while without hunching over too much, willing to install risers but dont want to overdo it. I ride mainly on groomed trails and on open lakes. I ride aggressively, i like sitting higher and forward and want room for my legs. Need a sled that handles well, moves well and is decent on gas, and must be comfortable for big riders.

Saw pics of Attak and Apex, seat position looks good, enough room for my legs but having never sat on one i have no idea.

I will be buying used, 2004-07. that being said any end of season deals out there??

Any help would be great. thanks.

At 6'4" 250lbs & long legs you better sit on an Apex LTX before you buy anything. My bud is 6'5" & he can't get his head out of the wind on my Apex 2007 Attak GT & he fits better on 06 on Vector with more sit in position.
