Tail light move

I ran mine under the heat shield and ty-wrapped it to the side of the tunnel protectors down to the new location. I cut a little notch out of the heat shield so it didn't pinch it.

I pop riveted 3/8 air brake plastic line under my tunnell near the tunnell protecter and then ran the wire in it

I did this.

If you are wondering, I made plates out of stainless to cover the old light mounting holes and cover the opening under the exhaust to keep my skinz bag dry.

$10 trip to the Home Depot. I used in ground sprinkler pipe and some electrical clips. Durable and light. Heatshrinked all the wires. Two seasons and running no probs.

Hey Mtnviper what did you do to your factory tail light housing?
I angled the back of the light housing itself, using a table top belt sander. To make the light sit more horizontally.
Then cut off the black plastic housing at the same angle. The black housing is mounted to the back of the tunnel with some 90 degree aluminum brackets that I made.
I was trying for the OEM look and I'm happy with the way it turned out. However its one of those projects that took a little more time, then I thought it would! :drink:

yea i Love that look i will try for the same look when i get my sled i like that look
