I thought that I would post some pics of my tail light relocation and carbon fiber tunnel extension project.
It's not to bad of a job to do for those who don't mind doing some upholstery work. Basically I made an angled mounting plate out of hardwood, then covered it in Black vinyl.
A couple of tips for when removing the seat cover.
Its easier to remove the cover from the front of the seat first and work your way rearward.
I marked the cover underneeth with a felt marker, so I could re-install the cover in the same position.
Becareful when removing the rear bottom strip from the seat frame as the cover can tear where the plastic strip is sewn to the cover. I glued a couple pieces of vinyl to the back side of the cover to give it more strength in this area. (shown in the photo with the aluminum backer plate)
To make it easier to re-install the cover over the back of the seat foam, I like to glue strips of plastic cut from a garbage bag to the foam. This makes it slippery and aids in sliding the cover in to position. ;)!
Sorry it's a XF7000!!! :hide:

Thanks stingray719!

BTW the Patrick C/F tunnel extension is really a nice piece. They are a little pricy, but it fits prefectly. Everything lines up just right with no cutting, trimming or modifications required. It even comes with a bag of rivits, hardware, drill bits, step by step instructions and small locator marks where to drill the holes. ;)!
