Got the gears last night, and will try when I get back from the Feb. Muni ride.
Any news about the 26 gear?

i got a 26 top as well and it fits just fine lots of room to spare. if you realy want to gear up change to 10 tooth drivers this would give you more range in taller gearing about three teeth higher

26 tooth gears are avlable ftom micro belmont enginering. i dont think 10 tooth drivers will work 1.5 in track unless you remove the heat exchanger protectors

26 tooth is available from bender and Micro belmont.... first test in 1000, the 26 went slower than 25.... plan to test one more time ...... the 25 has gone 133 in 1000ft. on my stage II

KIP............ I can run 136/137 but it takes 1700/1800' 25/38 gears.
I think it's the 1" trail track and the need to more "hook up". Spinning 10,700/10,800. 12# boost
What track and stud set up works best on your stage II??

I have run 33/25, 35/ 25 and 38/ 25. The 33 was too much for 1000', but if you are going to run the lake it pulls like a b over 100. But so doesn't the 35 and it accelerates alot better. I would like to try a 36. I do miss the reverse with the 38. Everything is a trade. This was at 18#'s.
