I decided to replace my rip saw 2 as I wasn’t completely satisfied with it and go with the Talon 32S pre studded, Last 3 days I’ve had the chance to ride groomed trails and try it out and so far I’m very impressed with its performance, talon held good straight lines going in and out corners, corner to corner straight line traction the Talon 32S grips very very well, feels like your stuck to the trail, I didn’t find that with the rip 2.
Not sure if it’s just me but I use to find the rip2 had a howl to it, talon seems to be a lot quieter, very little to no track noise at all.
So far so good...

I love my talon 45 track...all last season hooks up hard and is wearing hardly at all.

Your comment of not feeling glued to trail with rip II, reminded me of something I read.
By design the ripII has the ability to get loose thru corners. It's great for roosting. Lol! Not so good for the trails themselves.
