tank bag /bar bag

is that a yamaha bar bag or what make ?? thanks
;)! mm

I use the Yami tank bag, I can fit a pair of gloves and jumper cables in one pouch and still have three other pouches left along with the map holder, you could stuff a days worth of clothes if you needed to in the map pouch and other pockets, would be tight but I think you could do it.

I use the same as the Snake. Everything I need for a good day trip will fit into this bag, + the map.

I use the one that goes on the tail end of the seat.It has a main compartment and 2 side ones .I like it because its not in the way at all.The only bad thing is if you forget to zipper it ,things will be ejected as you go over bumps.I learned that the hard way (camera gloves & gps gone)

Same here. Yamaha tank bag with the 2 side pouches and 1 big center pouch. I thought it owuld get in the way but I don't even notice it. I have fit a change of cloths, extra pair of gloves, and a few other things in it. Tight, but it goes in. The only thing I don't like is that its not waterproof. I found that out the first day I was riding on a snowy day and the bag soaked through and everything got wet, including all of my maps. I keep them in a very large zip-lock bag now, and for this season I'm going to try spraying the bag with tent waterproofing spray. I like the way the center bag removes...nice for security, and also for bringing things inside when you'll need them.

I also invested in a handlebar bag but forgot where it was and I need to find it and install it. I also recently purchased the smaller rear soft luggage. Its smaller than I would like, but is great for day rides. I got an inspiration today and had thoughts about mounting the much larger Givi rear luggage bag from my street bike to the back, since I won't be using the bike over the winter anyway. I just need to see if I can mount it securely, and if so, if it will look right and not be in the way. Then I could take some serious stuff with me on overnight trips! Its also waterproof and removes with the push of a button, and also has a lock for securing helmet, etc., while I'm away from the sled.

O.K., after typing that I couldn't resist digging out the bag and seeing how it looks. Its better than I thought! Those of you strictly performance guys will say that it looks like #*$&@, but compared to the typical touring sled, I think the whole package looks pretty good. I tested the position, and it doesn't get in the way at all, and its actually not much larger overall than the rear soft luggage I have...but it extends further back. I climbed all over the sled, getting on and off, putting one knee down like I would in the rough stuff, etc., and it doesn't get in the way at all. It even has an optional backrest pad I can install. Please excuse the dirt...the trunk bag was packed away. Now I just need to figure out how to install it...anyone know how the optional rear racks mount?

NHRXRIDER, you wouldn't happen to be color blind would you??? Lots and lots of different colors on that there sled..... :tg:

I put fuzzy velcro on the back of the tank bag. Never had a water problem. I really like it. Even room for gun, and ammo.
