Everyone keeps telling me TD is the best, and saying they are paying 300-400 for full coverage. Sled is a 09 XTX

I just agreed to no collision, and 100 deductible on comp, with a PEO group discount for 350$ a yr.

With a 300 deductible on both collision and comp, and the discount, I was at 527$ a year...

The lady on the phone said my record is squeaky clean for tickets and accidents too. I'm not sure why it seems to be higher? :dunno:

Anyone who has TD coverage wanna chime in with what your paying and your deductibles? This is the 1st snowmobile I'm insuring in my name and I'm just curious to see if this is good/bad. Thanks!

I'm insured with them, $398/year tax included for full coverage, deductables are $300 for comp and $500 for collision....and I'm 40 years old with the best rating you can get from insurance..squeaky clean.

Why are you asking for a $100 deductable? Especially if you never use your insurance.

I carry a $1000 deductable for my sled and atv here in Manitoba. and my insurance runs $459 for the year.

In manitoba, I still need to register the sled and buy upgraded liability through the provincial insurance company.

Were about the same here. Two 09 XTX's insured with TD $500 deductible and our yearly bill is about $500 - $550( don't have the paperwork in front of me)

$120.00 For PLPD, fire and theft here in PEI..

Beenba....

Maybe they somehow found out that you blow skiies off of sleds like it is your job, or that you like to miss corners and end up down 25ft embankments....lol, just a thought..

:moon: [/quote]

for 3 sleds, PLPD, fire, theft... I'm like $160 ish for the 2 apex's.. and 140 or so for the phazer... if i have an issue.. i will just fix myself.. and build custom....

for plpd fire and theft on 97 et410, 2001 sx500r and 05 rxwar, the bill was $786.85 for a year when i paid it in feb from td.

For an 03 RX-1 I pay $256 + Tax with collision and $500 deductible but also have car and home with them.

Wow that is pricey for some of you! I think mine is $120 from state farm for the full boat. I can't remember what deductible is though........thinking $500. I'm 29 too........getting older :o|

I just called yest. they told me 489 with tax, full coverage for the year on a 09 nytro 300 dect.. Going to go with it ,my only worry is that I have heard a couple of horror stories were they give you a hard time when it comes to payout. but the price is great better than the 7 an change i'm paying now. Hopefully I won't need to use it.

$650 for liab, coll, comp, fire and theft for a 1200 doo. with cooperators. my apex was the same price,
i have a $500 deductable

Thanks for sharing guys, now I have a general idea, and seems my price isn't far off. They said I could always call in and add collision..I think I might but I will change up my deductibles a bit!

My only concern is, from what my dad says, is once you put a claim through collision your rates will go up and you will just end up paying for it in the long run? I guess I would only use collision if I wrote the sled off fully.
