Mike, Jeff, I appreciate your input, Thank You!
You guys have done what most would think impossible, My Hat is off to you, and you have the dyno sheets, time slips, and video to prove it.
580 lbs. and over 500 HP for 147 mph in 660 ft. is more of what I would expect.
I have taken pretty much everything I can off the sled to make it light, short of drilling holes in the chassis and going to exotic lightweight parts there is not much room to lighten these tanks, I might be able to remove the rest of the grills and remove the foam from the panels but that is about it.
I am still on Yamaha Clutches with STM, Dalton and Ski Doo tuning parts.
I have a pretty good handle on the clutching and know what direction I need to go with what I have to work with, so I am working on the ET.
The highest I have engaged is 5000 so far leaving off fast idle, not using studder box yet.
I know, I am taking a chance with Stock clutches but I have also taken every precaution and watch them carefully, I also Know what your going to say, and I am with you.
My Goal is to see how fast I can get a Stock 4000 mile trail motor to go in a well thought out combination of boost, chassis, and cluthing.
I don't think 5.0 et at 130+ mph is out of the question.
I have a box of parts to test yet so I will get it there sooner or later.
The Brower Timing system is on order
Maybe if I still have this one in the Spring I will put it on the asphault and see what I can do there.
Cheers!
