I just got back from my first ride after installing the Excell Motorsports tunnel cover. I cannot believe the difference! No ice build up inside the tunnel, no banging ice off the running board, and no wet feet. The sled rides about 30 pounds lighter. What a difference. I may actually keep this thing for a while.
I strongly recommend this product to any Phazer owner.

It really transforms the sled! The suspension works so much better, and best of all, the track isn't being damaged because no ice boogers.

Closing the tunnel was the best $12 I spent so far on the Phazer.

Does the excell cover, cover the front opening as well?
Just the rear! Well worth it!!
Seems to me you need to ride in an area without TREES!! lol
Might as well add your location before mods get to you!

That was a good question.I cant see just the rear being enough.I did just the front which keeps the ice from my feet and leg area as you can see.I am getting back done with thiers since it has louvers which may cool muffler a little but most of all cause it looks cool!
Here is pic from yesterday.Sled was warming up so its no longer totally closed with ice in back but believe me it was.Not even a hole.I couldnt even get the toolbox open on back.

I have the Yamaha fix installed in the front and the Excell in the rear - totally different sled with the enclosed tunnel.

Ummmm... I wonder if Excell could design something to fix the Venture Lite ice build-up problem? Because Yamaha is certainly not moving very quickly on the issue.

Front hole is what causes ice dam on exchanger. Cover it up.
The only problem with the excell tunnel cover is it cost how much? I went to a machine shop and bought some aluminum sheet they cut for me and it cost me a whopping $8 and accomplishes the same thing.

I agree, but like the look of the strip of vents down the middle of the Excell cover.
