I just got done with my first ride of the season with my 06 handle bars plugged into my 07 harness............YES! WARM HANDS!!!

I had to post a big THANK YOU to Dan.....without your experiment.....we all would still have cold hands. And you're right......you only need a few bars on the heat control.

Thanks Dan.........this will prove to be the most enjoyable season yet on my 06 Attak!!!!! :flag:

Yes a big thanks from me to. one bar and I could feel warmth in a couple of minutes. I asked question in other post, If you run the warmers up to half scale or higher, not that I will, would be way too hot, can you hurt electrical system. I heard yes, but why.
 
I have to say thanks too. I did mine last year and when I rode yesterday with my daughter I forgot how warm they got. Thanks again Dan.

I ran mine half way a few times as it was minus 25c and i get cold hands easy..lol....but always had to turn them down after alittle riding...

Im sure you could do some serious damage if you kept them up too high for too long...but i dont think any normal person could ride it over half at MOST....without frying your hands!

I still would like to get them to heat evenly to end of bars,which I only notice is bad when its really cold....most times its fine if not too hot.

BIg thanks to Dan from me as well, just installed some 06 bars on my 07rtx........BIG DIFFERENCE!! Its really going to be nice to ride it now. I put it to 3-4 bars and ran on the stand and within minutes it was getting very hot on my barehands. Thanks again!
 
I just installed my 07 harness with my 06 bars. I've yet to get out with the setup but can't wait for warm hands. I battled the last 2 season and was really tired of the half-frozen fingers. For a laugh though, I reread the entire 32 pages...lol.
 
I asked my dealer for the 07 harness and he said he couldn't find the part? Anyone know where I can order it online? Any help greatly appreciated, and if someonelse has already asked this question I appologize in advance don't have much time to come on here and do research.

Not sure now, I'm sure it must be online for the '07 model, but at the time they were updating the '06 bars, I don't think you could get just the harness.
 
What exactly did you guys do to the '06 bars? My '07 RTX bars suck! I can hardly feel any warmth with my bare hands, with full bars. Its really bad! Any imput?
