I just finished watching the latest episode of SnowTrax TV aired today. Mark Lester has an interview with the VP of Snowmobiles for AC and they discussed the future relationship between Textron/AC and Yamaha.
For those naysayers out there who say that Yamaha is getting out of the snomo biz anytime soon should watch this episode. It might not be what the true blue Yamaha fans want to hear but it sounds like the "Yamacats" are here to stay and are looking to get stronger in the future with a growing relationship between the two companies.

Not exactly the news i want to hear (i want pure yamaha) but i will take what i can get.
In my opinion, The yamaha influences in these sleds has changed cat for the better, but i still see a ton of room for improvment

As long as Yamahas has engineering input to differentiate their own product from Cat, that's fine. Even just the little things.
But I'm afraid ROI will always prevail.

Just looked for this episode on YouTube and Snowtrax.com but no luck. Guessing your talking about episode 5 that’s not yet available online?

When the manufacturers give you free sleds to ride every year and enough advertising $ to keep your publication afloat long term longevity of the machines being tested means absolutely nothing. We’re all in the same boat right? Brand new sleds for free each season?

I was wondering why they never showed Mark Lester's feet and his clown shoes during the interview. Thanks for setting that straight.
I seriously think that Snowtrax TV should sit down and interview you about the future of Yamaha Snowmobile Division since you seem to have the inside track. Just remember to wear your clown nose and shoes.
Why all of the hate for Yamaha in all of your posts?

Because he sits on the internet hiding behind a keyboard making himself feel important by putting down everything around him. This is the world of the internet. Trash talk and be an inconsiderate #*$&@ until you get tossed off the site. Just a general observation.
