Up in N Maine for a week, being guided by Rock here on TY, the last day, just crossed a lake, antifreeze pouring out of the sled, now what? Loaded sled up & forgot about it until noreaster threatened our area. Put sled on lift last night only to discover track flying apart, launching stud into front exchanger, what a mess! Need advice guys, should I use the same ripsaw [is there a better track], should I stud up the middle [seeing that the side of the track at the stud, is where it tore], should I not stud at all, is there any other heat exchangers out there besides OE [270.00]. Now I must break out the 96 XT, that's the pits. Love the RX, but not loving the down time! By the way, played around with 3 Apex GT's, none fully broken in yet, rocks had about 1000 miles, we were very close the little we played, one with lower miles said I had top end on him, the other clutched one we were about even. ECP & clutch kit really wakes up these RX's. I don't think there is a chance once Apex's are fully broken in & modded. Anyway any input on track, studs, & exchanger much appreciated. I'm going to dig out XT, storm is coming. 
I like the new Ice Ripper.... very close to 96 studs on ice. No worries about throwing a stud...

I take it you are talking about the shorty? You have choices for sure,i just installed the new 9010 hacksaw on my attak,and you can stud with normal studs,and even use chissles if you want,as thats what i use on the outside,if you do hit something hard enough they will break off before they rip your track. So just how fast did your rx go before pooching the track,did you cross eagle lake on the plowed side? What was your top speed gps or radar or speedo,we are going up wend. staying in caribou,and will ride north,did you do the new trail est.court trail to the border,they just opened it up,and it should be real good as they have more snow up in big 20 township..

Parx, if you can find someone who is able to weld aluminum, have them weld your busted heatexchanger. Cheap fix.

Not joking get some off this and put on the hole let dry and fill good to go! Have fixed three sleds this way good to go!!! And have saved to sled trips! I keep this stuff on my sled!!
