I'm getting conflicting stories every time I go to the dealership and ask about my sled. Two weeks ago I was told they are going to get one mass shipment from Chicago and today I stop in and they have a LTX and LTX-SE blue in the warehouse. So are they shipping two at a time or all of them?! If the were going to just drop off two at a time they could have done that right from TRF and saved us all some shipping cost and time waiting.
 

I hear ya...Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Why wouldn't they drop off at MN dealers on their way to the distribution center in Chicago?
 
This was my problem with the whole deal on these sleds and the past sleds with Yamaha. We as consumers are just looking for information so we can make a educated purchase with our money. Yet Yamaha and the dealers can't give us this information we require. If both of them would communicate better we as customers would feel better about spending our money. My dealer told me he doesn't make any money on selling snowmoblies. So I went and bought a different brand so he wouldn't lose any money on them and I just didn't feel the Viper was worh what they were asking for it.

I have found that Ski Doo in the VERY short time to be very helpful and they so far communicate very well with any questions I have had and if they don't have the answer they will call and get it. I am worried about the reliability of the motor but the information and help has not been an issue yet and that is what frustrated me with Yamaha.

If you want to increase sales leak out new ideas and concepts on sleds. We all love that stuff.

I bleed blue and I am going to at least try another brand and see how it goes.
 
Seems like they are only shipping a few at a time but yamaha claims that they are shipping as fast as they right now to get us our sleds
 
I know what you mean. I feel Yamaha should come clean and say, "everyone that has ordered a viper prior to shipping, we're sorry. Please enjoy an extra year of warranty on us." Would show their sincerity.

I gues thats what happens when they spend too much time with us Americans..... or could we blame this on the Canadians?????

That's not true! My buddy ordered a 600 etec and they keep telling him the same thing " it should be in next week" that was three weeks ago. They all have the same problems, but I guess you could always check if the grass is greener on the other side.
 
American company hires Japanese to teach Americans how to mate Chinese parts to American Chassis stolen from a Canadian company with Japanese engine but only Canadians get sleds. What?
 
Easy boys.........I'm in Canada and I don't have mine yet either. I hear the shipping of the red models is delayed.

Anybody see a red one yet!!!

Maybe there just pranking you. I heard all Canadian models shipped and many have over 1000 kilometers on them. OOPs unless..... you ordered a red one those take longer to make.

No reds yet. I heard from a source that red are going to be delivered dead last because of a seat cover issue. I hope the info was wrong. I ordered a red one.
