This thing is fast!!

I bought my 2003 rx1 last march this was my first sled. Two weeks ago I went out on a 500 km ride with my cousin and his buddies there were 10 of us. When we got on the lake they wanted to drag there was a o4 f7 two 2005machz1000 two mxz800s and a rev 800 and me on my rx1. My first thought is I would lose big time as I thought I had the slowest sled. When we started I got a bad start but within 150 meters I had passed all the 800s and was passing the f7 and gaining on the machs which i soon passed. The boys wanted to repeat the race and I smoked them all again. We raced for the third time and the one mach1000 caught me at the end of the lake. There is so much BS in the snowmobile community everyone claims they can beat the rx1 but no one proved it on the lake that day. :ORC

what is done to your sled? Machs are very fast and are near impossible to beat stock for stock, especially with an 03.

1# im guessing you have the stock 1inch track (this explains the high top speed)

2# every sled act differently depending on the weather and sled calibrations (clutching jetting etc)

Ive heard it soo many ways ... RX KICKS butt, RX got beat..... that i dont even care any more..

SoCo rx1 the only thing Ive done to my sled is changed the front springs, stabalizer bar and put on longer links I do have a 1 inch track. It was warm that day -3C and the mach1 s where clutched

Mach 1?? You mean Mach Z. The RX1 runs good but man the Mach z runs very good?!
