Clogged fuel filters? Looking at the microfiche, there are 2 in the gas tank.

they are known for that, they make longer jets (same size whole) just set deeper in bowl, cheap fix, not many ever hold a WOT long enough to ever see problem, the company that makes Heavy Hitter clutch weights sells them.

Thanks for the input guys. As for the fuel filters I just changed them and no difference. As for the jumbo jets I have them also from thunder products. It makes sense with vacuum actuated fuel pumps that At wot there there isn't strong enough vacuum pulses the run the pumps at there full potential. Maybe a electric pump would be my best solution?

How many miles. My 05 never had this problem. Maybe pumps are on the way out
There are small screens under the needle valve and seat assembly. I removed them years ago and have not had any problems since.

The sled has 3600miles on it. I did a vacuum test on the pumps and they tested ok but maybe I'll try removing the little screens and see if that helps. Thanks guys

had this happen on a couple of sleds check your vent line on chaincase side of tank it in a tierap alot of times this qinks and causes tank to create a vacuum and pumps wont overcome it prob if you looked after a long pull gas tank will be pulled in
