Hey guys,

Recently rolled my 2009 RS Venture....most of the damage was cosmetic (i.e. dash a little beat up), except for my right hand assembly. My emergency stop button busted off, and my throttle switch is a bit loose. The machine starts fine, but when I throttle up, the TORS kicks in.

If I had to guess, I need to tighten the slack in my throttle cable, but not quite sure how to do this....

Any ideas/thoughts/warnings?

Thanks!

Throttle cable is to tight there should be a Phillips head set screw adjuster where your throttle cable connects to your carbs/ throttle body back screw out till light turns off. idle must be set to high

trace the wiring for the TORS back to the connection points and cross the wires over to make the sled think that everything is fine. Tors is a pain in the a$$. I had to do this for a guy last year who was half way across our province with a group ride and had already called for friend to come pic up his sled as he thought he was stranded on the trail. Not sure when it would ever help but its more trouble than it is worth. Have already disconnected my SXR 600, Phazer GT, and I expect my Vector will be next.
