So I finally got out to ride my new to me 2011 Apex. Love everything about it...EPS is soo nice, 0 arm ache!
Only 1 major problem...my thumb heater has a mind of its own! I'd turn it to low (essentially off), and then after a few minutes of riding my thumb would be burning up and the heater had gone to max. Any ideas of how to fix this? Grips are fine for heat (no issues with keeping level where I set it), but the thumb heat was getting really annoying.
Thanks.

That's odd! Any possibility you inadvertently bump the switch higher while riding?

Nope...after it happened a couple times I consciously watched when it was going up and if I was touching the button. Maybe a faulty switch? I'll double check the connection (I think its a plug) when I'm at the cottage again this weekend.

Sounds like you are on the right track. I also would look at the switch first.
