thumb warmer

How in the hell does the thumb warmer element plug come out of the throttle assembly. I cannot seem to get it out. Lifting up on clip or pushing down on of the plug.

should be able to pinch and unhook but I know they suck. Call @Rockmeister he build a thumb warmer upgrade and has had these a part.
