Well it's time to move on to something new.
My 09 xtx has served me well.
Never once did it leave me stranded on a trail.
Will miss all the fun I had wrenching on it.
But most of all the motor.
All the extras I have for Nytro will be up for sale here on TY soon.
Cheers

Going to try out Doo for a couple seasons.
XS 800 etec R-motion, light sled.
Waiting for Viper to get a year or so sorted.
Would also like to see if the rumors are true about 5 new Yamaha engines over the next few years.

My buddy bought one last year the sled is flat out awesome and pretty fast too.It beats all my friends apex's

Rode them last year so I know what I'm into.
The 2013 I picked up was a good deal. Hard to resist.
Vipers seem way expensive in my zone.

I had a rev xp 800 and am glad I have a nytro now. Good luck. We will see you back so. Watch the intake boots they will dry out and blow motor up

Nytro 13 rider,

Oh, I plan on being back on Yamaha as soon as they amaze me again.
Something else must be in the works...

I must say I'm glad I'm off my nytro I gave it 4years , the most I've ever work on a sled not the engine but everything on the chassis almost every week ...never felt comfortable on that sled so I'm hoping my yamacat works for me , skidoo's are good sled's there are a lot of them out there and they don't have as many problems as people think , rode a 800 e- tec backcountry last year and it was an awesome sled

Do you like any yamaha's? Seems like every answer you give to a yamaha question is to buy a cat, or doo? Guess it's riding style etc. I own a boosted nytro, and have owned an apex. Still miss the apex, even though it was heavy. My friends 1200 just has all kinds of stupid crap wrong with it. Great corner to corner sled, good motor, but other then that a lazy runner. His rev800 before that fast, but always had crap wrong with it. I would rather have dependability, longevity, torque, fit and finish. I understand everyone has a different style of riding, but doo, and cat can't be the answer for every question. I've been eying up the cat turbo myself, but until their clutches and drives can keep up with their potential hp I'm waiting.

Now with the 800 etec, I think it will be a great sled till yamaha comes out with the apex replacement in 2-3 years. Especially for the price on a left over. Great bump sled, with lots of pull, and corner to corner action. Good luck and report back on pros and cons. I don't believe in complete brand loyalty. Being sled competition goes in waves. Remember vmax-4, srx 700, rx1, then apex. It usually went in 5-6 year waves. Same as Mach z and rev platforms etc. I hope yamaha remembers that

None takin
I guess I like them ......lol.......the apex or nytro isn't the answer all the time , but I think the new Indy is a great sled to 600 or 800 ....I've rode polaris for ever this nytro is the first yamaha I have had since a 91 phaser and the weight and handling just kills me .....ask a question and I give an answer it may be the same all the time but that's how I feel ...it's no different then people saying " buy an apex because I love mine and it the best " well I don't think it is , you can really feel the weight of the yamahas for sure , it's not that I hate them just look for something better nothing wrong with that I don't think ;)!
