TIRED

fat guys sit on the nytros.... skinny guys stand .... and then you got the wanna be snow crossers.... they stand just to look good...either way Nytros have their place and I have to agree that some have just bought the wrong sled.... so why is it the sleds fault for your bad decision!!

Well said... Guys are crying that an RTX has a rough ride and is not good for long trail rides... It's like OK, you bought the wrong sled, but you can also re-valve the shocks for the existing sled to make it softer... I'm not really happy as to why all the bashing and un-happy people around here. This sled has been out for 3 years and 2 for the XTX. Not sure why all of sudden it has become a disaster. The other issues, is I don't understand is how so many people are having so many problems with relays... I think most of them are plowing through snow and putting them away wet or back into a heated garage and it does not get dried out enough. Either way it is getting to be a disapoointment. I'm not sure if the issues we are seeing are really the sled or just the people who own them.

Oh, it has to be the people riding them for sure! Please understand, not everyone has the luxury of a heated garage to dry out their sleds. For example, last season we went for an overnight trip and got stuck in some drift along the way (no where to dry out even it I knew it was necessary) and the next morning it would not start w/o doing the screw driver across the terminals trick. So what are you saying, be careful and not go through deep snow on our snow machines? Could that possibly be a design flaw?

What I don't understand is why people get so sensitive and defensive with people talking about problems with their Yammie sleds. Yamaha is an imperfect company with imperfect people making imperfect machines just like all the other imperfect things that are made and broken! They are not critizing you or your mother or wife.... it's a company, for crying out loud.

Problem I have is complainers.... people that will never be happy.... people that cant even take the sled to the dealer... they go straight to the web to complain with no results other then making a good product look bad.... my take on it is use all that energy and focus it into solving the problem other then complaining.

Also I am sure this thread was meant to be fun so lets keep it that way :)

Yeah, that is true too; fixing is always more productive than complaining.
