I got the sled out Sunday a week ago with all the new upgrades. The snow was not great and I had no race gas so the switch was set at 9#'s of boost only. I was getting a LOT of track spin even down to bare ground. I knew hookup was going to be a problem at 12#'s so I made the decision to go ahead and add studs to the screw in stud points that I already have. The 200 screw ins are worn and several have come out. So I left them in and added 142 Woody's 1575 with grand master plates for single ply tracks all between the windows. I Installed this many hoping that spread the load over more studs will reduce the stress on each individual stud since this is a single ply track.
I went with a 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, repeating pattern and have enough left I can add 2 to the rows of 2 to make it a 3, 4, 3 pattern at 164 total

Set the chassis for more transfer on takeoff, I had to do that on my old 280hp Nytro.

Thanks Sting - I put the Hygear coupler system in it. it now pulls the skis 12" when it hooks up and takes off like a rocket instead of thr front climbing to the sky. Hey should I send those Evol Rc'2 with Yamahatim so you can try them out there this week???????

Naw I have mine dialed in with the Fox Float 3's and really like it.
K just asking!!! I don't think they would do anything for you in that environment anyhow.

That was my thought too, why have expensive shocks in powder. Thanks very much for the offer though.

Are 1.575" studs gonna do anything for you? Thought the xtx had a 1.6" track?
They rate stud lengths goofy. in many cases.
I would have thought more on the order of 192+ probably a bunch more for the HP of that turbo with 12 psi.

That track is going to balloon like a mother in the middle. That's one downside to studding the single ply heavy up the middle. I know a lot of guys don't like studding the outside but many swear that doing so helped a lot with the ballooning of the single ply Cobra on the Turbo cats. May not be a factor if you are not racing or near top speed runs. Mine would balloon and rub even unstudded at high speed when the track wasn't pretty tight.
