So I was sidehilling across a pretty steep hill today and I hit a rock that was barely sticking out of the snow that I didn't see. Subframe is bent pretty badly. The spindle is also bent.

Here's my question for you guys. If I bend it straight and avoid hitting anything else really hard will I be able to wait till this summer to pull it out and reinforce it? I can see where the support plate on the bottom is bent.

Also does anyone have a spindle they would part with?

Yeah, you can get away with finishing out the year with it, but definitely keep a close eye on it (I guarantee you will) in case it starts to bend back.. Double check the A arm mount bolts, in case they may have loosened, as well as the spindle bolt too.

Sounds like you bent yours bad, I bend mine every couple rides but its just one ski back from the other a few inches. I don't straighten in because I know I'm going to bend it again and I figure straightening it only weakens it by bending it one extra time.

It all depends how bad it is but I bend my 08 all the time and I keep running it.

I'm sure there are allot that disagree with me on this but I hit too much stuff to replace them. I love how much abuse the nytro front end will take.
