I am not sure if the top a arm is suppost to have any play at all but mine xtx do have a little bit. I can't see my bushing being gone already cause I only have 1200 km but I just finished changing my sub frame and I dont believe I did anything wrong the plastic bushings are there and the inside shaft is and they are torqued down to spec. So I have no clue if there is suppose to be a little, it's not a lot but enough to notice and hear a clicking when the skis are off the ground and you move the skis

get oilite bushings. the plastic ones wear out QUICK! Ulmer racing for the oilites too. i know yamaha has them now but service is better from ulmer.

That doesn't suprise me.
I changed my bushings after 1900 kms and they were finished. The a-arms would rattle back and forth.
The plastic ones are inexpensive, but don't last long.

prob isnt so much the wear, impact seems to oval them and give that slop.
just did oillites in the phazer...piece of cake

I just did them on my wifes Phazer while I was in there doing UP Bushman upgrade. I didn't think they where bad until I put in Ulmer's oilites on spec. Major diff!!

Best way to check how much slop you have in the front suspension:

Raise the front of the sled in the air by the bumper alone so that the skis and A arms are unloaded. Grab a ski loop and push and pull fore and aft. You might be surprised how sloppy the front end might be.

I have a brand new XTX with zero miles, and there is some play i the upper bushings.
